An Evening of Discovery: From Grain to Glass. Crafting Fine Bourbons

Join us on Thursday, February 23 from 7pm-8:30pm at Joe Canal’s of West Deptford as we host a very special bourbon event and raffle to benefit the Delaware Valley Fields Foundation (DVFF). The DVFF is a non-profit foundation that works to help sustain and defend regional small agriculture including farmers who grow grains for use in spirits like whiskey. This year the DVFF will focus on the SeedSpark program which is helping fund a project at Penn State University to bring back an heirloom rye grain that hasn’t been in production since Prohibition. To help raise funds for this initiative, we are offering a night of bourbon tasting, food and a raffle drawing for a chance to win a rare 1980 bottle of Old Fire Copper (OFC) Distillery’s Straight Bourbon Whiskey valued at $10,000. One of only100 bottles from this vintage collection.

For more information about the DVFF and the 1980 OFC bottle visit the links provided below.

We expect this to be a stellar evening filled with fine bourbon whiskeys from the world’s most award-winning Distillery, Buffalo Trace, as well as a few other surprises to whet your tastebuds, and of course a delightful selection of bourbon-inspired food pairings. Moreover, every ticket purchased will serve as your entry in the drawing for the $10,000 OFC bottle. The winner will be selected at the end of the evening at Joe Canal’s, and will have the distinct honor of being the Ultra OFC VIP Guest at the American Whiskey Convention, where the bottle will be officially presented.
